There are two types of people in this world:

5. Do you have a reliable health insurance cover?
6. Do you have any money to invest in anything? 
7. Do you have more than one active stream of income? 
8. If you or a loved one got a chronic illness, would you comfortably afford to pay their hospital bills?
9. Do you have a tangible plan for your retirement?
10. Do you know how much money (the exact figure) you would need to live comfortably for a whole year? 
11. Do you control when you take a break from work or go on vacation? 
12. Do you control how much money you earn? 
13. Are you able to pay your rent or mortgage comfortably every month?
14. Do you have zero debt? 
15. Do you do work that you love or work that pays your bills?
16. We're you financially stable during COVID-19 pandemic? 

If you answered no for most of these questions, you are NOT in control of your money, your time, or life. And that is NOT good at all!

For example, a poor person knows they want more money. However, their actions will never align with those wants. Their actions will always go contrary to getting more money. 

Poor people will do the following: 

1. Hear about available opportunities and not take any action to pursue them 

2. Spend more time on entertainment than personal development 

3. Criticize wealthy people for having too much money

4. Buy things they don't need with money they don't have to make themselves feel more valuable 

5. Make promise to themselves about changing their lives but will never keep those promises 

6. Argue with people who have more money than them about the best ways to make money

7. Suspect everything to be a scam because of their poverty mentality 

8. Always say I will start tomorrow 

9. Fail once at something and quit forever

10. Tolerate mediocrity from yourself and others 

11. Always have an excuse for why they can't become successful or start a meaningful venture

12. Blame everyone else for their failure except themselves

13. Expect the government to save their financial situation 

14. Say I can't afford it and give up instead of asking how will I afford it and work for it  

15. Fail to believe in the likeness of God in them which is capable of achieving any goal they put their mind to (Philippians 4:13) 

16. Feel entitled to getting valuable things for free 

Do you know what poor really stands for?

Poverty is a curse. Nothing about it aligns with God's original plan for man. And this is very clear from the scriptures. (Deuteronomy 8:18 You shall remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth)
